My biggest strength is that I am a story teller. Working either as an Editor or Director, shaping pictures and sound into the most effective way to tell your story.
I have over twenty years experience as a broadcast editor. My career started 1985 with TVNZ at the Avalon television studios in Wellington where I trained as a film editor cutting 16mm film on a Steenbeck। I worked on programs such as Country Calendar, Radio with Pictures and Fair Go.
In 1991 I left TVNZ to become a freelance post production editor based in Auckland. Avid Media Composer had just been released onto the market and I was an early adopter of nonlinear editing. I have worked on a diverse range of formats from broadcast news through to corporate, lifestyle, magazine, light entertainment, reality and documentary. I have also been lucky to have worked on number of Te Reo productions.
I own my own Avid / Final Cut edit suites which are optimized for HD post production. These edit suites are available for dry hire as well as with an editor. I also provide the services of Post production supervisor / Co ordinator.
